This is turning out to be an exciting week! Today we’re happy to release a new Directory add-on and an important update for Templatic booking themes. By “booking themes” I mean those powered by our Booking plugin. As of this moment these include: 5 Star, Vacation Rental and Hotel Booking. Manage coupons with Listing Vouchers add-on Listing Vouchers is a simple Directory add-on that allows visitors to upload coupons during the listing submission process. It does this by introducing a new custom field – “Upload Vouchers”. As with all other custom fields, this one can also be tweaked and modified from the Tevolution ⇨ Custom Fields Setup section. Submitted vouchers will show inside a new tab on your listing detail pages. Within that tab visitors will have two options; to Download or to Print out the coupon. Voucher uploads are available in several file types: PDF, JPG, PNG and GIF. The number of coupons allowed for uploading can be set from the Tevolution -> General Setting section. There’s also a nice bonus for all Fields Monetization owners.. that particular add-on will allow you to control the number of allowed coupons for each individual price package. In short, you’ll be able to charge extra for the possibility of uploading more coupons. Purchase Listing Vouchers or check out other Directory add-ons Booking improvements: Availability calendar on detail pages + better “minimum stay” functionality By enabling an option inside Booking System settings you can now display the availability calendar on house and room detail pages. The calendar will appear at the bottom of the page, before the comments. This will allow your visitors to quickly see when the house/room is available and then use the “Book Now” button to proceed with the booking. As of this update the minimum number of booking days (i.e., minimum stay) can be set for each individual house and for each individual seasonal price (of a specific house). Similar how seasonal prices affect the booking price of a house, the same will happen with minimum stay – the limit entered while setting the seasonal price will supersede the one set while creating the house.
