WordPress 3.6 “Oscar”, the latest major release is now available for download. New features include a revamped auto-save system and a whole new theme – Twenty Thirteen. WordPress guys have created a short and quirky video about these improvements… we highly recommend watching it. New user features in WordPress 3.6 Developer features How does this update affect you? Hopefully it doesn’t. We’ve been slowly testing our themes with RC versions for a while so there shouldn’t be many surprises now that the final version is out. Whichever theme you have installed, it’s recommended you backup the files and database before proceeding with the install. Backups are like seat belts. Use them but hope you’ll never have to depend on them. Because of this new WordPress version we’ll be releasing an update to one of our most popular instruction videos; the one about WordPress custom menus. The updated video is expected to release today or tomorrow. The video will feature new instructions but don’t worry, the Russian accent will still be there :)
